You know those artists whose songs you can instantly identify the first time you hear them? Trevor Hall is one of those artists. The LA local’s deep voice and reggae-tinged sound are both just so unique that there’s no mistaking them, and I fell in love with his 2009 self-titled release the moment I heard it. Its follow-up, Everything Everytime Everywhere, will be released on August 23rd, but fans can purchase the first single from the album, “Brand New Day,” now!
Like his heroes Ben Harper and Bob Marley, Hall creates catchy, pop-rock anthems with positive messages that make you just want to link arms with everyone around you and sing along…something you’ll have the opportunity to do if you head out to one of his upcoming shows. He’ll be touring the US for the next couple of months, playing a series of dates with Matisyahu and hitting the Roxy on September 17th.
