Most artists are considered prolific right around the five/six album mark, but acclaimed singer/songwriter Bob Schneider isn’t just any artist. Now touring in support of his eleventh (!) solo release, A Perfect Day, Schneider is set to bring his blues-infused sound to LA with a stop at the Troubadour on August 12th.
If you haven’t already seen the “awww”-inducing video for the album’s first single, “Let The Light In,” you’re going to want to check that out. Then get a taste for what a Bob Schneider live performance feels like by watching him perform the song for PBS’ “Austin City Limits” as part of the show’s 36th season finale (viewable at the 38:40 mark).

That live string section adds a whole new dimension to the track, but it’s still really hard to decide which video I like better…that little Schneider look-alike is pretty darn cute.

I saw him in austin not to long ago. I really enjoyed his set. I hope he brings the opening band i saw him with last time to this gig. I think they were called the quite company. they were really good
