Christmas may still be seven months away but I’m feeling the spirit of giving right now, dear readers, which is why LA Music Blog is offering one lucky fan a pair of FREE tickets to next week’s Noah and the Whale show at El Rey Theatre!

Last Night On Earth, the album the band released on March 7th, has already made my short list for top albums of 2011. It’s got this dance-inducing, Tom Petty-esque feel to it that I just love, and the opportunity to hear its catchy contents in a live setting is not a gift I’d bestow upon just anyone, so when you leave your comment below letting me know why you deserve to win the tickets, you need to be extra convincing.
