With more than two years since the release of The Open Door EP, Death Cab For Cutie are back with a new album, Codes And Keys, and a video for their first single, “You Are A Tourist.” Conceptualized by Aaron Stewart-Ahn and directed by Tim Nackashi, it will be the first-ever live, scripted music video made in a single take as it is broadcast live through UStream TODAY at 4 PST/7EST.
After Death Cab For Cutie announced in February that their new album, Codes And Keys, is set to release on May 31, they revealed dates to an underplay tour, which commences on May 18 in Toronto. After playing the El Rey Theatre in LA on June 7, the tour will conclude in San Francisco on June 9. A Lonely Forest will act as support for most of the tour, with the exception of three dates in which they will be joined by Bright Eyes.
