I truly believe that I deserve to win this and here’s why. I’ve been listening to Hollywood Undead since about 2006. I used blast classic HU songs like “The Kids”, “Scene For Dummies”, “Turn Off The Lights”, ect. through my house all the time. I remember when “Undead” was called “Out The Way”. Hollywood Undead has impacted my life more than most, if not any of their fans. In fact, they’re responsible for my career choice. I’ve decided to pursue a career as a Music Producer/Musician, and I’m currently going to school for it. In my mid-teen years I remember messing around with audio editing software trying to re-create Hollywood Undead songs. As thank you to them, I did a full cover of their new single “Hear Me Now”, sent it to them, and got some positive feedback on it! I even have “Undead” tattooed on my forearm. I own Swan Songs, Desperate Measures, and American Tragedy because I love them and support them by buying their cds and not downloading them. I have a lot of Hollywood Undead merch also including 3 CDs, 5 shirts, an HU belt buckle, and 2 HU bandannas. I still have Promo stickers from their fancorps street team promoting the release of Swan Songs. I also have a few LA Pride shirts, a company owned by one of their friends and worn by them on several occasions. I’ve made a few fan masks over the years to wear to shows. I’ve never missed an HU show within a 90 mile radius of my house. I truly believe that I’m the Ultimate Hollywood Undead Fan, and that I deserve this. It would also make an amazing addition to my HU collection!

I think I deserve to win this contest because a lot of people might like, or love H.U., and for good reason, but how many fans have actually have their life impacted in unbelievable ways by them? How many fans have had their lives Saved by Hollywood Undead? I have. When all hope seemed lost, I found Hollywood Undead. And they gave me the hope to survive because they Fucking Understood. I’ve been a die-hard fan since atleast 2006, and I still am. People talk shit about H.U., they end up with a broken nose and dirt in there faces. I’m a loyal member of the Undead Army and I always will be! I barely have any money, yet I still scrape up whatever can find to buy all their albums and as much merch as I can afford. I chose the American Tragedy album over buying lunch after hiking all day. I’ve tried to go to as many concerts that I can find near me, and I always feel just about crushed when I realize I can’t afford the tickets >.< I have memorized the whole Undead Army salute thing, by heart. And it would be extremely awesome to have signed gear by them. I’ve been to one concert and it was freakin epic, crazy, but epic. While at the concert i realized i can truly be me while yelling/singing along to HU and not be judged because HU’s music is “weird” and they wear “creepy” masks. fuck that. I AM Hollywood Undead’s biggest fan! I have known them from Myspace in 2005 and fell in love with them instantly. I have been to 11 shows so far, seen them multiple times on every tour. I travel from Baltimore, MD. where I am from to Virginia and Pennsylvania. I generally see them at least two times on each tour. And coming up, on April 12th and 13th I will see them in Philly and Baltimore for my 12th and 13th time. Not only do I go to the shows, but I wait in line in the freezing cold, rain and heat just so I can be front row at everyshow. I have met the band several times and they are just down-right awesome guys who like to have a good time and don’t let the fame get to them!

I have pretty much almost memorized all the lyrics to every song on their album Swan Songs and the same to their new album American Tragedy. I was like the fourth person to purchase there new album American Tragedy from the Hot Topic in Ogden Utah. I even got one of the masks that they had the guy who worked there said that they only got one mask of every member in the band. I chose to get the Da kurlzz mask and it is now hanging up in my room next to my copy of their album. I really hope i win this because i deserve it the most.

I don”t really know what I have done to deserve a prize this beautiful. Ive been a fan for about a year now, but this doesn’t really tell you whether or not I”m a great fan, all I know is that I’ve have met so many wonderful people because of these men. They’ve been in my city 2 times since I discovered them, and neither time have I been able to go due to school activities. Getting something signed by my men in masks would almost make up for that.

I just think these guys have amazing attitudes and are so real. I used to write songs all the time, I always use lyrics as my status on facebook, and their songwriting abilities amaze me! That’s what makes or breaks good music: anything can sound good, but the lyrics are what make it great! You guys don’t take shit lying down, yet you’re so down to earth at the same time. I love watching interviews of you guys cuz you’re all hilarious! I can’t wait to get a dove and grenade tattoo because, aside from representing one of my favorite bands, I absolutely love the symbolism. I think I deserve to win because I have listened to Hollywood Undead since they were just a MySpace band, when Shady Jeff was still in the band. Over the years I’ve watched HU go from a small MySpace sensation to so much more, and I’m proud to say I’ve been there every step of the way. I listen to HU everyday. Whether it be “Knife Called Lust,” or “Comin’ In Hot,” I can’t go a day without their music. Hollywood Undead’s music has helped me through a lot of rough times throughout life. HU has always been one of my favorite bands. Everywhere I go I try to get new people to listen to them. I own Swan Songs, Desperate Measures, and Ämerican Tragedy. I own 3 HU shirts, and am planning on getting a new one soon, I need one with Danny on it. I’m stoked for the concert on may 10 and couldn’t be any happier that I get to go. I am anticipating turning 18 so I can finally get my HU tattoo. I am proud to say that I’ve believed in HU since day one. I’ve stuck by them even when Deuce left, even when some “fans” left. I remember when i was just 13 in just 2005 and MySpace was getting popular with everyone, and there was a band that was constantly fighting for that coveted #1 unsigned artist spot on the music charts with tila tequila. That band was Hollywood undead, and ever since i discovered them that fateful December, they have been putting out the soundtrack to my life, and I’ll be an undead soldier till the end of time. Whether another member leaves or comes in, its not about the members, its the spirit of the guys and the experience that is hollywood undead itself. They have songs that go hand in hand with my worst times, and songs that make my best times better. Honestly, if could have one wish in my lifetime, it would be to be able to meet these guys and thank them for being there and helping me through all the hard times I’ve been through with their music. They inspire me everyday by showing that no matter who you are, you can make history and have a good time doing it. I’m almost 19 now and I’ve basically grown up and matured alongside these guys. It may not have been physical, but it felt like they’ve been there with me through it all. The reward may not be as good as getting to meet my Heroes in person to say thank you, but at least it would be closer to them than I am now. If the band gets to read this by any chance, I just want to say thank you, and I wouldn’t have made it this far in life without you guys. HU4L.

I am a teacher for the past 13 years in the ghetto and everyday life can get you down like crazy. EVERYDAY on the way to school I listen to HU as well as on lunch and on my planning period.
