Atlanta progressive metallers, Mastodon, have just revealed the trailer for their upcoming live DVD/CD outing Live at the Aragon, which will see a March 15th release through Reprise. The set was recorded during the band’s October 17, 2009 concert at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois, and it features a performance of the entire Crack The Skye album, as well as an assortment of tracks from the band’s back catalog, and a cover of the Melvin’s “The Bit.” The DVD also contains a 58-minute tour film that was projected on the screen behind the band during their set.
A limited-edition version of the set is being prepared for a release as well and will include:
- Live At The Aragon DVD/CD
- Custom Mastodon logo guitar pick tin with 6 individual Mastodon guitar picks
- Reproduction Mastodon all-access tour laminate with lanyard
