Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares has announced the resurrection of Asesino, his death metal/grindcore side project featuring former Static-X bassist Tony Campos and Emilio Marquez on drums. The band has scheduled a handful of dates through Texas, Mexico, and southern California while Fear Factory takes some much-needed time off from supporting 2010’s Mechanize.

Asesino’s latest album, Cristo Satanico, was released in 2006 through Hawino Records. The follow-up to Corridos De Muerte, Cazares describes it as “15 songs of filthy perversion, satanism, molestation, rape, sodomy, murder, death, oh, and of course, love.”
