I am so into Dev right now it’s not even funny. I wasn’t really sure what to think with her chorus on Far East Movement’s “Like A G6″ since there wasn’t a lot to it, but this girl’s got some real talent. There are a ton of girls with a similar sound trying to make it right now and what immediately strikes me about Dev is that what she is doing is actually her, instead of someone who is trying to be this or that. Her voice is a little on the sweet side, but her flows have this swagger that I’d expect from an artist with a lot more time in the industry. Dev was just signed to Universal Records last month, and I guarantee she is going to blow UP. Check out her video for “Booty Bounce” below.
