Exciting news, LA peeps: two groups that are serious contenders for the #1 position on my Best Live Performances of 2010 list will be sharing a stage this Wednesday! I don’t know how one venue will be able to hold all of the excitement and energy that Fitz and the Tantrums and AWOLNATION are sure to bring to the El Rey, but I’m excited to find out. Oh, and guess what? LA Music Blog is giving away a pair of tickets to the show!

Why should I win the tickets to see Fitz & the Tantrums? Because I hopped aboard the Fitz train SUPER late and foolishly missed their residency at Spaceland, as well as their Hammer Museum appearance. I would relish the opportunity to see them live, because I have no doubt that they’re fanfreakingtastic!
