I don’t know about you, but October 27th, i.e., the Gorillaz Los Angeles appearance, cannot come soon enough for me, and now I have an addition reason to be excited about the date: N*E*R*D has been announced as the opening act for the Gorillaz North American tour!

This is a great addition to what is sure to be an already amazing performance. I’m still keeping my fingers and toes crossed in the hopes that Mos Def and Snoop will be able to swing by the Gibson Amphitheatre to contribute their verses to the Gorillaz set, but even if they don’t, the already confirmed list of guests to appear on at least some dates is still impressive:

Miho Hatori (to appear in Los Angeles and NYC only)
