Ah Apple. I may not be super stoked about your iPad, but iTunes is still my favorite place to buy new music. However, because today is Free Music Friday (and not Spend Money Friday), it’s your free Single of the Week that I’m interested in…and you readers should be too.

If you haven’t already heard (or read), V.V. Brown is a force to be reckoned with in the pop music world, and iTunes is giving away her single “Shark in the Water” as their free download of the week. Check it out, and if you dig what you hear, you can pick up the full album for just $5.99. Friday is payday after all, and if you’re gonna spend money, might as well pick up some new music to get your weekend started right.
