Woohoo! An announcement I’ve been waiting for since 2005 was made this week. The new Gorillaz album Plastic Beach has a release date: March 9th! I was excited enough to hear that the animated foursome will be playing Coachella this year, but the news regarding their highly anticipated follow-up to Demon Days has me ecstatic.
To tide us over until March, the track “Stylo” featuring Bobby Womack and Mos Def has been released on the group’s website, and the album’s track list boasts a host of additional contributors. Let us know what you think of “Stylo” in the comments.
